7 yr old Chestnut Mare, 12.1 ½ hh.

Silkwood Heaven's Chalice is a stunning small pony with exceptional bloodlines and extreme movement. Sired by the imported Royal Melbourne Show Supreme Champion Riding Pony Pendley Gold Cup (IMP), out of the illustrious winning mare Silkwood Heaven Can Wait

After being broken at Silkwood Stud and turned out Candy was sent to the Drexel Family in Western Australia where she was educated and produced to outstanding success. Partnered with Bella Drexel, Candy achieved Champion Small Pony at Perth Royal and state HOTY titles.

Having returned back to Silkwood Stud and having qualified for the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2008, Candy was prepared and made the trek north to outstanding success - Silkwood Heaven's Chalice was sashed Champion Small Pony n.e 12.2hh.

The decision to attend Adelaide Royal in 2008 also proved fruitful, where the Silkwood Stud bred ponies dominated. Silkwood Heaven's Chalice worked beautifully to be sashed Reserve Champion Small Pony to the delightful and deserved Champion Silkwood Angel Wings

Candy continued with success in Victoria claiming the Champion Childs Pony and a Top Ten berth at the Show Horse Council of Victoria (SHCV) Horse of The Year. In 2008 Silkwood Heaven's Chalice claimed the Summer Royal Champion Newcomer Riding Pony with young rider Laura Shaw, before Madeline Tabak partnered with Candy to claim Top Ten at the well supported Barastoc Horse of The Year Show at Werribee Park.
