  Jackets Bluebird (IMP) found his way from the hands of respected breeder Julie Rucklidge (UK) onto Australian shores thanks to the foresight of Jan Langley where he became a resident sire at her distinguished Langtree Stud.

Jackets Bluebird (IMP) then made his way to Rothwell Stud where he stood breeding quality ponies for Mrs. Liz Irwin before his recent purchase by Silkwood Stud.

Jackets Bluebird (IMP) is being utilised over the strong broodmare band at Silkwood Stud - the result of many years of concentrated breeding.

Jackets Bluebird (IMP) comes from a wealth of breeding.
His sire
Whalton Touch o' The Blues has been an outstanding breeding prospect - sire of 5 Royal International Champions, 7 HOYS winners and 3 HOYS Champions.
Touch o' The Blues himself was PBAR Supreme Ridden Champion at the Royal International Horse Show, beating all other ridden horses.
It is also interesting to note that Bluebirds sire is also the same sire as the modern favourite Courtland Boy-Blue (IMP) (dec.) who bred successfully at Rathowen Stud.

Jackets Indigo Blue (UK), a full brother to Jackets Bluebird (IMP), has achieved outstanding success in the UK. His achievements include;

3 x Winner of National Pony Society Super Premium for Riding Pony Stallions
Champion Stallion National Pony Society In-hand and Ridden
Champion Ridden South of England, Ponies of England
Reserve Champion at Royal International Horse Show

Jackets Bluebird (IMP) may be available to limited, select outside mares this breeding season.
